Calculadora de Cheque de Pago por Hora

Calcula tu cheque de pago neto por hora después de impuestos federales, estatales y deducciones del FICA (Seguridad Social y Medicare).

Calculadora de Cheque de Pago por Hora

The hourly paycheck calculator estimates your take-home pay based on your hourly wage, hours worked, and applicable tax deductions including federal income tax, state income tax, and FICA taxes.

FICA taxes consist of Social Security (6.2% up to the wage base limit) and Medicare (1.45%, plus 0.9% additional for high earners). These are deducted from every paycheck.

Pre-tax deductions like 401(k) contributions and health insurance premiums reduce your taxable income and can significantly increase your take-home pay.

How Your Hourly Paycheck Is Calculated

Gross pay = Hours worked × Hourly rate (plus overtime at 1.5× for hours over 40/week under FLSA).

Net pay = Gross pay − Federal income tax − State income tax − Social Security (6.2%) − Medicare (1.45%) − Other deductions (401k, health insurance, etc.)

Understanding Your Pay Stub Deductions

Federal income tax uses progressive tax brackets. Your withholding is determined by your W-4 filing status and allowances.

Most states also have income tax (9 states have none: AK, FL, NV, NH, SD, TN, TX, WA, WY). State rates vary from 0% to 13.3% (California).

Gross hourly pay × Hours = Gross pay. Subtract federal tax (10–37%), Social Security (6.2%), Medicare (1.45%), and state taxes. Net result is your take-home pay.
