Monthly salary = Annual salary ÷ 12. Biweekly = Annual salary ÷ 26. Weekly = Annual salary ÷ 52. Daily = Hourly rate × 8 (standard work day).
Hourly vs Salary: Key Differences
Hourly employees are paid for every hour worked and receive overtime (1.5×) for hours over 40/week. Salaried employees receive a fixed amount regardless of hours worked.
Exempt salaried employees don't qualify for overtime under the FLSA if paid at least $684/week ($35,568/year) and perform executive, administrative, or professional duties.
